So, Nita and Mukesh Ambani from India think it's appropriate for them to build a 25 story house in Mumbai for themselves. Is it their right? Of course it is. However, it would now seem to me that they and, especially their children, will never have to lift a finger in their lives, while having house bills that can feed families for months.
My question to you guys is that if you had the power to make the laws in your countries, what would be your first few?
For me, I would re-institute the military draft with no deferrments whatsoever. The second would be to have a "death tax". Many conservatives are against this, largely because they've had the advantage growing up wealthy and spoiled. I would start it at 1% for every $10,000,000.
I'm sure many of you disagree, but I'd like to hear your opinions. |

If I had the power to make laws in my country I would start by getting rid of most them.
Vice crimes...gone!
Laws restricting free trade, free speech, migration...gone!
And there would be no draft because there would be no military. There would be no death tax because there would be no more taxpayer funded assistance.
The only new law would be, Everyone leaves everyone else alone. |

I would introduce a zombie tax.
And outlaw cybernetic organisms from using time travel.
Oh and incur stiff penalties on aliens who use humans as hunting practice.
Oh! Oh! and any robots that achieve sentience must contribute to the national health scheme.
Shape changing automatized mechanical devices may seek asylum but can not bring their war to earth.
Ghost Busting would become nationalized but with a no-strike policy. In return employees will be made to 'feel good'.
Axel Foley will get his badge and gun back.
The Dark Knight will tell us where he 'gets those toys'.
More bins. |

I'd ban property taxes on small houses that sit on less than five acres of land. |
