do you guys living in apartments get the vocal chords cut?? I couldnt do that just so i can have a pet (cant think of the right word) so i will never own a dog in Korea

Absolutely not. You get a dog in a sensible manner, spend time on it, making sure it's adequately trained, exercised, and socialised, and your dog need not neccesarily bark at anything. It's obscene to get their vocal chords cut to to make things easier on yourself.

I'm sure there are dogs from Emart that survive. I'm saying there are, in this country right now, thousands of dogs left behind, thrown out or ignored for no good reason. It's not radical to suggest that someone looking for a dog should consider that route. Find out where Emart gets those dogs and if that makes you feel as warm and fluffy inside as giving an abandoned one a home does, go for it.

My dog from Emart was perfectly healthy. It is a Yorkie, They provided all his shots (100 000 won value), gave me a months supply of dog food, free grooming for 6 months, everytime i go there they give me service doggy snacks. If I am shopping at emart they let me kennel him for an hour or so. the list goes on.

I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to buy a dog from emart either, but i must say the vets there and the service provided are really top notch. At least the emart near my place.

It's not a bad idea getting one from Emart of a pet market, however you are taking a gamble, they purebreads aren't bread with the same quality as most countries and they take the dogs away from the mother WAY to early which can lead to developmental problems later on. There are way to many great, friendly puppies and perfectly trained dogs in Korea that are available for adoption, for free, or minimal donation.

My friend just found a beautiful husky mixed puppy dog that is in good health and she has even given it its first shots. She already rescued a pup from the Daejon shelter so she needs to find it a home, pm me if you are interested.

i recommend getting the vocal cords cut so they can't bark

also don't forget to get them neutered so they can't screw

a simple testicle/penile operation will insure that they are unable to urinate in your apartment

new a*shole procedure will insure that they will never leave a dump on your floor

i also recommend having all the fur sheared off so they won't get fleas and shed on your rug

also don't forget teeth removal so they cannot bite you even playfully
China has some nice soft dog food you can order by mail
