There was a thread about her before.. someone here got fully checked out by said celebrity at a Starbucks or GJ's, can't remember...

She's pretty big nowdays, got a big role in one of the more popular dramas recently, "Bodyguard", and her English is rather good.

Nice one. :)

jae.

when I first came to Korea I was hangin' in Twan on a sat afternoon and a Korean guy sat down next to me. My friends said he was famous. Hearin that constantly for my forst 3 months I didn't hink anything of it.. untill he spoke! I totally recognized his voice. It took me a min but I soon realized who he was. It was Johnny Yun! if ya don't know the name its the actor from the "they call me Bruce" movies.

very cool and friendly guy

Yep, that was me and I maintain it as fact. Don't know why she was checking me out but she did the full up-down-back up check-out.

Those pictures don't do here justice, and neither does TV or any model catwalk. The woman in person is absolutely gorgeous.

Wasn't your wife with you at the time? I forget who it was you said did the "checkin".

I didn't have a clue the gal I met Friday was a star, until my friend told me.

My wife was with me when Kim Hae Soo was rubbing my lower back at the Coffee Bean. I was alone when being checked out by Han Go Eun.

I've met quite a few minor celebrities and I imagine that many others have as well. While not advocating star gazing, I've found that many of them are pretty cool and would suggest to everyone that if they get a chance to meet them that they should chat them up as much as possible. Almost always an interesting story and you might find some good people.

Although, you can find some good people anywhere you go.

"The Continuing Mis-adventures of W.T.F. Derrek"

Another depressing train wreck from our hero, Derrek. This girl was DANCING ON THE TABLE and you're tellin' us you didn't even COP A FEEL? Where's the story! Your plots, much like your hairline, are thinning!

MY GOD, MAN! WAKE UP! You only live twice, or so they say!

Very nice. Hope your new hair style rocks her! It isn't so much having some talent in your company, it is having smoking hot chicks in your company that makes this story great. Cool

Her manager was there the whole time.

She started to follow a foreigner out of the room at the time he was leaving for the bathroom, and her manager jumped in. She was wasted, and probably headed to the bathroom herself. He wasn't about to let her be seen anywhere with just one foreign guy -- always had her with the group.

Hahhahha! Same girl I met! After meeting her, I can definately say I totally believe your story. She's about as forward and direct as they come. If she wasn't a star, she'd scare the hell out of most Korean men, I think. She probably does as it is.

She must be considered National Treasure No. 589 or something...a couple of years ago reporters were pissing themselves in the rush to report that she had been seen alone in the company of some Yugoslav (sorry Matko, can't remember whether Ustashe or Chetnik) soccer player.

There were immediate denials made by her spokesman that the two were dating or in any way intimate.

Reminds me of the old saw: "Dog bites man -- not news. Man bites dog -- news".

Oh the scandal.

It's funny how celebrities are supposed to have these pristine images. I guess them being single adds to their marketability factor.

It's one of those unwritten things that pretty much every female celebrity worth their salt (with a few exceptions I guess) has slept their way into stardom.

I don't know whether it's true or not, but a LOT of Korean people will tell you the same.

Interesting angle I guess. If you can't be famous, you can label other famous people for being sluts. :)

HAHA

jae,
