Oh, as long as it was obviously hoaky enough to be recognized as a reenactment, I guess it really isn't as disturbing. I thought that it was some legit news source doing some really good undercover camera work--but that it had dropped the ball and had made the show more into a spectacle.

I wonder why my wife bought it though when she saw it. Confused

What preposterous Korean shite. I would venture to guess that the scenario presented in the show of a foreigner using ghb or some roofie on a Korean gal and then taking her outside to his car for sex has never even remotley happened in Korea.

I know a couple women got drugged in Geckos by foreign guys before. Hospital tests confirmed it too. Fortunately they got in a taxi and went home as soon as they realised and felt sick..

Hope the idea doesn't catch on with Korean guys.

Your typical trash TV. The staged scenes and story to "shock" viewers reminds me of Jerry Springer. Maybe the producer of the show was a fan of US daytime trash talk shows.

i saw this useless show too. from what i could understand, it was about an american english teacher and his kgirlfriend. they were doing well together until the kgirl wanted to go to america with her bfriend and meet his parents and travel around new york. at that point, the bfriend freaked out and started trying to hook up with another girl under the guise of teaching her english. the 1st girl caught them going into her boyfriend's apartment and lost it. as a result, the 1st girlfriend went to a club. at that club, she ran into her boyfriend's friends. they took her back to their apt by telling her that they would call her boyfriend over and clear up the misunderstanding. instead, they gang raped her. the show ended with the host accusing the boyfriend of being a criminal and calling the police.

it was on the comedy channel (dont ask me why) and the "boyfriend" and his friends were clearly not americans. they had heavy eastern european accents. it might be convincing to a native korean cuz the actors were pretty intense but in the end it was all fiction.

Can we tone down the neanderthal racism? I just wanted to confirm whether the show existed, and if so, how to find it on tv or a rebroadcast again.

It seems that some of the above have not seen the show and use the negativity of the show as a pretext to judge the whole of one ethnicity. Rolling Eyes

Now, if they had some Springer-like chest action from K-girls! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'm a chest/bust/tit/bumper/juggs man, can you tell! Cool

Well, some of us did see it. I couldn't understand all of it, but I could tell that it was poor journalism at its best. There have been too many of these shows and it shows two things we have to be careful about: The media and our own behavior.

Guys, be careful out there.

stop watching korean programming. it WILL rot your brain. look at what its done to them. they believe anything that comes from the glowing box.

remember:
ALL foreigners use drugs.
ALLforeigners just want to bang every korean girl they see.
ALL foreigners are here because they couldn't get jobs in their own country.
and mad cow will kill 95% of korean people in four years.

Not the best programme ever.

I also watched it.

It seemed to serve 2 purposes:
1) Show how bad foreigners are,
2) Show how bad Korean girls are who date them.

It basically portrayed Korean girls as being "cheap" girls if they date a foreigner.

Another programme that makes life easier for us people in relationships with Koreans, great.

Best dialogue of programme:

MC: Your a criminal!!!!

ESL Teacher: No I'm not. I'm an American!!!

MC: We'll see you in court, bring your American lawyer!!!!

Funny thing was....the ESL teachers were all eastern European, utter joke.

The actors are all idiots for playing those roles...crazy.

I am beyond caring about how the Korean media portrays foreigners anymore.

It is not worth affecting one's health due to anger and frustration.

Well, I will say that there are a fair number of instances I've heard of where Korean girls were drugged in clubs.

Interestingly, I heard it was a group of GI's doing it.
