It would seem that, in the process of meddling with the Democratic primaries, Limbaugh has damaged his party's chances, as well as his reputation.
1) Because he got people to switch party affiliations in MS in March, those voters who were Republican but now are Democratic, no longer can vote in the special election for Congress. And because of that, the Democrat there might actually win the seat.

2) By calling for people to switch parties in OH, he might have violated OH electoral laws. He might have gotten away with it this time, but next time he won't be so lucky.
3) Just recently, he was calling for race riots in Denver if Clinton steals the nomination on the convention floor. And THEN he sang (badly) "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas".

Of course, outrage is limited to only a few places. But imagine if an Obama campaign affiliate had said the same thing! Oh, it would be on all major channels 24 hours a day!
4) Realizing that Clinton is leading in the polls against McCain by 9 points he is calling a pause to Operation Stupidity, I mean Chaos.

| My gut reaction, after the audio sound bites, was to issue new orders, because I saw, you know, AP/Ipsos poll has Hillary up over McCain by nine points, 50-41. My gut reaction here, after hearing Obama, was to issue orders changing directives, i.e., vote Obama in remaining primaries. But I'm holding back. That's why I'm calling an operational pause. Because I want to see what the Drive-Bys are going to do and I want to see how the superdelegates are affected by this. You can't vote in North Carolina and Indiana 'til Tuesday anyway, so there's really no pause. |

LMAO!
1. Those voters are in a heavily Republican district anyway. The voters were Democrat for 1 day so what you say means little.
2. LOL! What laws? You're seriously not suggesting you'd like to take away my right to express myself, guaranteed under the 1st amendment, with the concept of 'one person, one vote.'
3. Rush Limbaough is not calling for riots. It's those on the left calling for riots. Recreat68, Roseanne Barr, and Al Sharpton are the ones calling for riots. Rush Limbough is just repeating what those goons are saying.
4. 9 points? It's a lot closer than that. Link. |
