So you have been going out with your Korean girlfriend for about a month or so. She speaks a decent amount of English thanks to your help (make me a samich, would you shut up, the games on, etc) and you think things are going pretty good. Youre making decent amounts of money, your gf has stopped messaging you ten times an hour (took a bit to train her out of that one) and you have sweet, sweet visions of taking her back home with your oodles of money to show off to all your friends and family and settle down to live the good life. With that in mind you ring her up for your regular 10:00 booty call. But tonight she is busy. No matter, you call her a day later- nothing. Next day: same. And the next. Suddenly, after calling ten times or so (you tell all your friends it was three) you realize that you have been dumped by your hot Korean girlfriend and you are at a loss as to why. What is it that you did? You put up with all of her annoying squeals and considered yourself sensitive for enduring and even enjoying those cutesy cuddle sessions she was so keen on. You didnt strain your wallet but you definitely took her out to a dinner or two, and attempted to buy her a modestly priced piece of jewelry. What, pray tell, was it, then, that caused the woman you were considering marrying to leave so abruptly with not even a goodbye?
The trick is, sir, she finally figured out what it was you were actually saying!!! After about a month of your less than adoring attention (Korean guys got you beat on the lavish gifts and restaurant going) she eventually understood that you had no more interest in herself and her ideas than any average patriarchal Korean dude. And why would any k girl go for this odd foreign misogyny when you could have some acceptable, home grown Korean misogyny and date a suitable Korean man? So sure, she booked it, but you have one small victory- she now has the perception that western men are sexist pigs. Kudos!
Bear in mind this does not hold true for all foreign men, the majority of foreign men, nor even a large minority of foreign men I have spoken to here. But there is a loud, abrasive, vocal group of men who, I have got to say, should pray every day their hot Korean girl friend NEVER LEARNS ENGLISH!!!!
Hence, the I hope she never learns English Awards:
I propose, the filthiest, most misogynistic posts prior to this one (its cheating to start spewing the hate just to get an award, boys!!) be linked, quoted, or referred to in this one thread so future generations can just stand in awe of just how crude and hateful men of 2008 can really be! |

For example, and to get the ball rolling:

korean women = Downs' Syndrome children. |
short, sweet, and to the point. There were some bitter tears when she dumped that dude, no doubt. |

the award goes to my kindergarten hagwon director who inists on written paper plans flied away for every lesson. After looking through them she complained that the paper was too thin and i need to put a date on all of them- if she knew english she would tear them apart.

Sounds a bit like someone trying to imitate JongnoGuru, but I'm not convinced. He wouldn't have misspelled "nausea" in the other thread, and I can't see him squishing all his paragraphs together so they can't breathe ... |

Yeah, people sure can be mean. Like:
"opposite for me too, the longer i've stayed here the uglier they've gotten not just based on personality either, but this still doesn't change the fact that the average Korean woman is much better looking than the average western woman."
or:
'"isthisreally wrote:

Only because they weigh 150 pounds less.'
or:
"i've found one thing that's true the world over (maybe especially in korea): girls that KNOW THEY'RE DROP DEAD GORGEOUS usually have an attitude to match. life has been far too easy on them, and it shows as soon they open the hole in their face."
There are PLENTY of good guys here, but there are some SH!TTY ones too, and they deserve to be called on it. If you aren't a sh!tty guy, fantastic. Even better, call other sh!ts on their sh!ttyness. But don't blame me for getting pissed when I have read or heard the thousandth piece of misogynistic filth this month and I need to vent. This is part of Korea that guys don't have to deal with- new levels of hate from a woman's perspective.

When my girlfriend got to that point of realization I employed an arsenal of coercion and guilt tactics to hold her until I could at least make it appear that I was making something of myself. We finally came to the conclusion that I'm not logical or educated and she has no practical common sense. I'm the one who shows her that the reason her computer won't turn on is because she has switch in lock mode and she's the one to tell me the combined price of two items with tax at the supermarket. We get along just fine now!
Now I have a trophy Korean female on my arm wherever and whenever and she has a white skinned path to a green card! |

I'm not American.
My country doesn't have Green Cards.
I don't see your point.
But thanks if you thought my post was funny.
Eh. |

You thought that poster might be ME?! Oh Lord.
But you know, I did misspell 'nauseous' on this board once. I think I wrote 'nautious' and someone called me on it. Right they were to do it, too. I deserved to be pilloried for such a crime. But in all honestly, can you imagine me writing "booty call"? Because I certainly can't. Not unless the context was a sneering rant about the moral decay and rising vulgar manners of our Western Civilisation. |

I hated the first post when I started reading it, but it won me over in the end. I'm too lazy to go searching for a misogynistic quote, though. good luck. |
