Opinions ? You find there's more than one ? |
Exactly. |

Tell her she's an ignorant sod. Last I heard, a survey of Koreans had the majority liking the US. And that wasn't too long ago. |

South Korea is a hotbed of violent anti-Americanism. I recently wrote to Senator McCain expressing as much and he took it very seriously, with a nuclear strike on the North and the South likely within 6 months of his inauguration. |

Koreans and topical issues are like children with toys. They pick up something for a while, get bored of it quickly, then drop it and pick up something else.
But there has been anti-Americanism in Korea since the Korean War. It just comes and goes in waves. |

Nope. That's all there is to it. It's a fairly recent thing. Trust me; it'll blow over. I recommend you ignore students who slam the US right now. It's just media fueled ignorance...it's temporary.
These people love americans. |
Are you an American ? Just asking because that's REALLY not the impression I get. |
McDonalds, Baskin Robbins, Krispy Kreme, Disney, need I go on? |

Do you think it registers that it's American ? I sometimes don't think korea has a good sense of perspective on these matters. |

Boohoo!
Come on. Let's imagine teaching at a school in America or England and bring up the topic of Muslims. I'm sure you'd get a equally stupid reply off your students. Racial intolerance isn't just a Korean thing. It's an uneducated remark. Laugh it off and move on.
If somebody said something sh*t about England I'd probably agree with them. Quit taking your own stupid country so seriously. |

Anti-Americanism is for the indignant, impecuniously vulgar and contemptible order of world-serfdom (as seen in countries like Korea). Even their petty, slanderous overlords always come to America on their knees when it counts. All are worthless, ungrateful scum resentful of their own inexorable inferiority.
Anyone with any self-worth and integrity knows America rules. |

Muslims are one of those groups students can't say anything bad about in American colleges; although, teachers and students will often put down Jews quite often without getting in trouble. |

The Uni's go out of their way to apologize for muslim behaviors and ideas too.
In the case below, a muslim threatened to kill a dog that a man kept with to protect him during epileptic fits. The uni did not discipline the muslim and apologized for the misunderstanding of having a dog in a class with a muslim calling it "part of the growth process when we become more diverse" and apologized for the "misunderstanding".
