I received my Canadian criminal record report today. Now what? Do I need to take it to the embassy for an apostille or something?
I know that there are several threads on here about CRC's but the rules change so often in this organizational paradise, that I don't know the latest status of things.
Thanks in advance.

You need to take it to the CANADIAN embassy, swear an affidavit saying that it is authentic and then take the CRC and the affidavit down to immigration.

Yep....that affidavit is called a statutory declaration for Canadian citizens.
There's a great...accurate sticky here titled, "authenticating a background check from within Korea."
Show up...fill out the forms...pay the fee.
Good luck. |
