When Ben confronted Widmore, he did mention that he would never find the island.. so it's safe to assume that this 'moving 'happened..
I don't get why Claire was all smuggy in the cabin.. perhaps she was supposed to be dead yet the island kept her alive?? Maybe the fact that she was supposed to be dead, yet had a kid is the reason that Jack "isn't supposed to raise the baby"..?

I used to think there was a linear time flow on the island. Now, I doubt it.

Keemy (sp) is a great character... really enjoy him... too bad he's most likely going to get killed soon enough..
Ben is still the best character... although these recent signs of weakness are a bit disturbing, I have no doubt that he'll rebound soon... |

he's a great character, but i'll be glad to see him die. i cant see how they could make him a sympathetic character

That quote from Ben has been bothering me. My guess is that he and Whitmore have somehow been to or seen the future and therefore already know everything that will transpire on the island. They came to an agreement not to mess with "the past", which would actually be the present time on the island. By killing Ben's daughter, Whitmore broke the pact and changed "the past" and hence, "the rules."
Or
Whitmore and Ben simply agreed not to f*ck with each other's family. But that would be weak ass. |

edit: The scene when the Aussie woman told Kate her baby was beautiful, when in fact she was talking about her own grandson plus the look on Jack's face afterwards, was awesome. |

| i wonder at what point in time jack found out that aaron is his nephew. im assuming it was early, before the trial, since he found out at his dads memorial service. and was jack reluctant to see aaron because claire was the result of his father's indiscretion? |
