Anybody here remember the first Rockssin? The owner we called Chief. I forget his real name now. He was cool. I heard he freaked out and had some problems with the foreigners after I had gone back home. We used to have a great time there. All the teachers in Anyang would go there. Ji Eun(May) was the cute bartender and there were a few DJs that were cool too. Johnny, May's boyfriend, Hyun-Gyu. I remember many nights in there until closing at about 6am. I couldn't do it anymore, but man it was fun when I was 22. I have great memories of those days. |

I played there when it was Rocksin 2, in the basement location. Now it is called Club Psycho. The music is too loud and annoying to sit and have a normal conversation with someone. I think that is why not many people fill it up. When I played there when it was called Rocksin 2, I had a great time. Last time I was there, Club Psycho, some asshole threw a dart at my friend's face. That was fucked up and he should have been put to death for such an action. |

I do it was about 2 minutes from my old first apartment near 2001 outlet. Was a cool place in the beginning on the second floor. DJ would play pretty much any CD you brought in. The occasional bar fight. I liked it met alot of cool people...some royal a$$hats. I liked it cuz sometimes it was loud and you could dance on the tiny dance floor and sometimes you could just sit around and biatch about your job.
Makes me feel old too.

I feel even older because you are talking about the second one. The first Rockssin was just across the street from the 2nd floor location. It was on the left of the little gamjatang place. The second one opened in the fall/winter of 2000 I believe. That place was cool too. |
