Is that right? How do rationalize your assumptions that the Israeli's only want to be left alone by the continued building of settlements on Palestinians property and how settlement building increased not decreased during the so called peace process?
If destroy your home and kill your family for resisting how would you react? |

Before 1967 Israel did not have the West Bank or Gaza. What was the problem then?
Anyway answer away.

Clinton, who tried but failed to make peace in the Middle East the legacy of his presidency, decried the current cycle of violence in Israel.
"I don't think there is a military solution to this," he said. "But I know there's not a terrorist solution to it."
Clinton also said he disagreed with President Bush that peace can be achieved only when Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is gone from power.
Nevertheless, he said it is important for the United States to remain involved because "Israelis believe that America is the only big country that cares if they live or die."
The ex-president said the best solution to the Middle East conflict is an interim settlement that would "establish a Palestinian state now."
But he stressed that the creation of such a state must be preceded by security assurances for Israel and a timetable to resolve other issues.
Clinton said Arafat made a "disastrous mistake" by turning down past peace proposals that would have given the Palestinian leader control of 97 percent of the West Bank.
Yet, Clinton said, "There is reason for hope.
"I think this will be resolved on the terms the Palestinians walked away from." |

Yes, it was those pesky settlements that plunged them into depravity, wasn't it? Before that there was no indiscriminate suicide-murder, no support for genocide, no Jew-hate indoctrination of children, no jihad on zionist-crusaders, no belief that suicide bombers go to heaven, yadda yadda yadda. Without those pesky settlements they would become civilized and live peacefully on Sugar Candy Mountain, wouldn't they? |

I think you mean suicide bombing and yes this is a very recent phenomena which came about as a result of years of treating the Palestinians like they were animals.

I don't know about sugar candy mountain but I do agree that things could not be worse though and most likely much better across much of the middle East. Israel is like an open sore in the ME and it only serves to help would be dictators from actually doing anything about the problems of their own countries. |

Gaza & TheWest Bank is a war zone. You got anything that shows that Israel behaves worse than other mid east nations or even most nations during war?
Why is it that Israel has to withdraw without getting any assurance that the other side won't attack? |
