i can't believe i'm saying this, but i really believe "hero" by mariah carey is the best one to do. second for me would be "wonderwall" by oasis. "all the things she said" by tatu is so tantalizing but it's impossible to do it well...as is "underneath your clothes" by shakira, though it's such a hot song, it's just a difficult register and ultimately no fun. oh, and one must not forget as well about the sensational, "la bamba"!!!!! very fun.....

The 노래방s have recently added Ring of Fire to their repertoire. It's the first and only song they have that's easily within my vocal range.

Hah, same here. Do the 노래방 have mostly English language songs? Korean? Other countries (I'm a big fan of French hip hop/rap)?

"Epic" by Faith No More is pretty easy to sing to. They probably have that song available.

I have yet to be drunk enough in Korea to even contemplate trying out Karaoke, however during my painful ride on a Karaoke bus with a bunch of Grade 3s I gave it some thought & I reckon I'd opt for I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor.

Unfortunately if I was that pissed my mental faculties will probably have taken a dive & I'd end up going for My Way by Frank. Karaoke & Frank just belong together in my mind.

Hahaha...I love seeing their faces when they realise the Korean version is just a rip-off. Laughing

I'm quite good at impersonating Axl Rose, so I often pick GN'R songs, but I totally melted my girlfriend's heart with Yesterday [edit: the Beatles' Yesterday that is) - a nice ballad never goes amiss, eh?

One embarrassing memory I have is doing Rock your body by my namesake....Mr Timberlake. I'm a good singer and did a good job, but I dunno, rather cringeworthy nonetheless.
