for sealed transcript and apostilled CRC?

I'm on F visa but my PS handler's been asking for sealed transcript and apostilled CRC. I don't know why.

Maybe they are trying to change my F visa to E visa to put a leash on me. Is it possible?

If you are going to work at a public school, you will need to do a health check and a CRC. It doesn't matter what VISA you are on. Also Korean teachers at a PS have to go through all of this too.

Yes, I gave them health check and a CRC (not apostilled). But why do they want sealed transcript and apostilled CRC?

From what I have read the CRC is not valid unless it is apostilled. But that may be determined by what country you are from. Also, they probably need the sealed transcripts to register you with the local education office or something like that.

Yes Korean teachers have to do a yearly health check.

Maybe, because in the title of this thread, you don't seem to know the difference between singular and plural?

Health check? That's nothing. What about a police check?

Ooooh... 'conspiracy theory' paranoia... you give them to much credit.

Your co-teacher is Korean and has been told by the POE to do certain things. Most Koreans are incapable of independent thinking and must go through the motions because their superiors/elders told them to... linear, 'Western' logic does not apply. Wink

They don't REQUIRE it except at a local / district level because of someones "decree" that you must provide it.

You have 2 choices.
1) Provide it
2) Tell them they have copies and it those aren't suitable they can fire you.

You will still be there next year.

Thanks for clearing that up. I think I'll choose option 2. Razz

Option #2 is best... 'see' you next year.

Have they asked you to go online and 'prove' you have a degree?

Laughing Laughing Laughing

They are more worried about me quitting than making excuses to fire me. Razz
