"Theres talk of Mrs Clinton telling Obama that the price of concession is that he settle her campaign debt and take her on the ticket. Hes got the money though he should [use it] for worthier purposes. As for the number 2 spot, what does it take to keep the Clintons clear of the White House? A stake through both their hearts? An Aztec priest with a really sharp piece of obsidian? If ever a campaign disclosed low moral and political fiber, it was this one. Bill ended up as a petulant sleazeball and Hillary as a war drum thumper, marching shoulder to shoulder with John McCain, shouting that shes the candidate of the white people."

There was some discussion on BlogTalkRadio that Clinton might switch parties and join McCain as his VP. She's running with his talking points at times, and she promotes him more than detracts him, so...

Obama can't pay back all of her debt- the rules limit him to X amount of dollars, but it won't be enough to pay back Mark Penn.

My greatest fear is Obama becomes president, Clinton his VP, and some lone racist nut assassinates Obama. Yet another name on the Clinton body count dot dot dot.

Grrr. There will be no shutting up the conspiracy nuts.

Shocked

I hadn't thought of that. If Hilly were VP she would be just another suicide in the park away from the presidency.

Verrrrrry spooky!

There's talk of a lot of things. It doesn't surprise me that counterpunch stoops to rumour-mongering.

Counterpunch supports the enemy.

That site is not worthy of any respect whatsoever.

An Obama/Clinton ticket has a lot of appeal. (Although what to do with Bill presents a problem.) Hillary played second banana to Bill all these years, so she has experience that no one can dispute. It would mostly nullify all those who've said they won't vote for the other one. The only real question is: Would her personality be too strong and overwhelm Obama in the media?
