can anyone recommend a nice hotel bar downtown Seoul?

something dark, with leather chairs, real drinks rather than the watered-down ones in the foreigner bars?

thanks!

OKims in the Westin: not a bad martini, but no Maker's Mark for a proper manhattan. At times you can feel like an exhibit in a zoo.

Bobby London's in Lotte: a bunch of corporate posers.

But for my buck, a booth at the Hollywood in Itaewon is still one of the best places to have a cigar.

Oh, no. Just what a decent hotel bar needs, another 3 million won a month, one-year wonder sucking back drinks they can't afford and trying hard to not look like an English teacher!

Makes you wonder why some Koreans dislike foreigners.
