Can anyone recommend any good places in Seoul to take a 2 year old (Western age)? In particular, any places that could be visited in early evening. Does Seoul have food places with built in play facilities etc?
Also, do you recommend taking so young a child to places like Lotte World, the zoo etc? |

No, unless this child looks Asian enough to blend in with the crowd. Take a non-Korean baby to a place like that and HE/SHE is going to become a moving exhibit for all the K-Folks. |

She would blend in easily enough, thanks for the feedback though. |

The aquarium at the Coex mall might be interesting for her, and there's also the Children's Grand Park. She might also enjoy a boat ride, there are some that leave from Yuido (sp?). |

We took our 2 year old to the CoEx Aquarium last long weekend. I was pretty crowded, and he tends to like outside better than inside, so it was about 5 minutes of fun, then 1 hour of whining.
Still, I'd recommend it depending on the temper of your youngster. It's expensive though.
The following weekend, we went walking in Olympic park... he enjoyed that a lot (being the outside and all).
At two, I think a walk outside and playing on the grass is as good as anything. |
