Didn't the original body on those Hondas have dual front lights? That's an entirely aftermarket body.

Hi, thanks for your comment. You are correct about the headlight. To my knowledge this bike was bought in Seoul as a naked bike (no plastic or headlight, and Ernesto had an entire new fairing kit custom painted and put on.
The headlights were the best he could come up with at the time.

Not to be rude, but seriously... that bike is 13 years old and doesn't even have the correct body on it. In that time, that thing's probably gone from a racing bike to a delivery bike and had an engine rebuild or two.

I'm guessing real-world value is around $3,500 tops. I really hope you didn't buy it at around $5,500, or you got royally screwed by Mr. Kim.

Don't feel bad. I got burned on a Yamaha once.

Point taken. It is tricky getting a Japanese bike here and knowing the kind of life it has had.Looking around at other bikes, its a tough market for bikes over $3000.
It is a very nice bike that has had a lot poured into it over the last 12 months, but of course, recovering costs invested into an older bike is never easy.
This bike will suit someone who wants a customised bike already completed to a high standard.

It is a nice looking bike. You mention how tricky it is to get a Japanese bike here. It has 41,000kms on it already with little to no service history. How expensive is the maintenaince on a 13 year old Japanese bike going to be in Korea since they are hard to come by? And yes, you honestly can't expect to recover those costs.
