I just had a shirt tailor-made there and must say that it looks quite sharp indeed.

Not only is it probably the nicest dress shirt I own, but at 50,000 won (delivery included), it's also the cheapest.

Highly recommended. They're on the main strip in Itaewon.

I have bought 6 shirts from them. Although, I seem to remember paying 30,000-35,000. It depends on the materials. I have been extremely happy with their shirts, and would also recommend them to anyone. They have received so much business that they had to open a second store right next to their original. I was near there today, I should've bought a couple more shirts.

I wouldn't recommend Hamilton Shirts. For someone who's having tailored shirts made for the first time, it may be great but you can get much better elsewhere. I thought the fit of my shirts from there were decent but the workmanship were crap. The buttons are also terrible.

Go down the road to Hahn's tailor for a much better shirt at about the same price. The shirts at Hahn's aren't great either. They're better than what you get at Hamilton and for the money, they're a good buy.

Hamilton is good if you know nothing about MTM shirts. Otherwise, they suck. England right next door is better, but not great. But at least they understood how to taper at the waist to accomodate my wider shoulders. Hamilton had no idea what I meant when I spoke of tapering the waist. Consequently, I ended up with a shirt that fit like a parka. I mean, hello, what's the point of a CUSTOM shirt if it's not flowing to the contours of MY body?

I used to like them, but now I would like to find something new. I only buy 1 or 2 a year, but the last few have been of dubious quality. They seem to have raised cost in the past few years, and managed to lower quality as well. They probably found a cheaper maker near Chunngye-chon, which is where many shirts and suits are actually made.

The problem with Hamilton, is that they don't listen when you tell them that foreigners gain and lose weight more frequently than Koreans. I had five shirts made there, I asked them to give me some extra room in case I gained a few pounds and they totally ignored me. Six months later, in the winter - I gained about 7 pounds. The buttons on the wrist cuffs wouldn't button and the neck wouldn't button either. I had to make all five shirts into short sleeve where I don't have to button the top button anymore.

I found their quality average and their service kind of poor.
