I unfortunately broke my camera. Nothing severe but still not good. The back switch part that changes between picture, video, and view pictures is not working and seems to be loose somehow. It is stuck on the picture taking setting which isnt the end of the world but i would still like to be able to take vids. Has anyone had any experience with camera repair here in Seoul. Im half considering getting a small screw driver set and going at it as a last resort if its going to be costly. If I were to take it to the technomart (its quite close to me) and simply walk up to one of the shops with a big canon sign would they be able to help me out without costing an arm and a leg? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. |

there is a canon AS center in namdaemun. they should be able to fix your camera for you. its kind of hard for me to tell you the exact location...sooo i suggest you go to one of the camera shops in namdaemun, and ask them where it is.
its across the street from all the camera shops, but i cant remember exactly which building. and its stuffed in one of the upper floors.
edit: i suggest you DO NOT go to technomart to get your camera repaired. those guys are sheisters. go to a canon service center. |

Also in Shinchon (exit 7 i think, maybe across the main road from hyundai dept store is a canon repair center. it's costly, though. i broke my canon, too, and it's not even worth getting it fixed. |
