|
|
A few months ago I moved from the world of teaching into the world of studying. As a result of not working so much, I'll have to move into a smaller place when my rent is up this summer. In advance of that, I'd like to part with a few things that I have that I just won't have room for in the new place.
I'm located in Gunpo (Sanbon) and can meet you in and around Seoul or locally of course. I can deliver the bigger items and am more than willing to ship anything anywhere in Korea provided you pay for the costs (it's cheap here).
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! All prices are OBO - so if you don't like a price you see, make me an offer!

I may have a few more things lying around... this may get an update in the near future.
Thanks in advance (and know that all proceeds from this sale will go to a good cause -- my education!)

No pics yet, but a preview:
I have AGV Motorcycle racing boots (size 12/13) 100,000
Korean study materials: many books, lots of tapes, and a tape player and speakers 50,000
Pics in the next day or so.
Also:
Is anyone interested in an all-english car navigation unit? i'd be willing to let it go for about 150,000. These are a little more expensive due to the fact that it's hard to find all-english versions.
Let me know if you want to see pics. |

interested in the air compressor and the receiver.
can you tell me some history of the receiver and what's the lowest you're willing to take for the compressor? |

I'll knock the price of the compressor down 10,000 to 50,000. It's pretty much brand new... used only a few times.
As for the reciever:
This is a vintage Onkyo Integra TX-SV919THX. This was the top of the line reciever in its day - it was also the first ever reciever that recieved THX certification.
When it comes to digital inputs, Dolby Digital/DTS ... it doesn't have any of that. It supports Dolby Pro-logic in surround.
It's amplifiers are rated for 100wx3front and 60wx2 rear. |

How far are you from Yongin?
How heavy is the amp? How good is it as a headphone amp? |

About a 30 minute drive. Yeah, it's heavy. I think if you put it on your lap for a trip on the subway, it would hurt.
Headphone out has a lot of juice. Mind you, I only have a pair of Grado SR60s (which are easy to drive). Still, I find it's too loud at far less than half-volume. It should be able to handle higher impedance phones well. |

DVD Player, English Books, Amp, Compressor, and tripod are tentatively spoken for...
Thanks for the interest guys!
I'll have one more item in addition to all the rest posted up tomorrow: A clothes steamer - great for smoothing wrinkled clothes - which I'll let go for 40,000. Pics up tomorrow. |

Did you use the Magellan GPS unit much? What is the advantage of the English navigation unit over the GPS unit if you have the maps? |

Ah.. Good question - something I should have made a little clearer.
the Magellan is really a handheld model. It has maps, but they aren't very detailed and they certainly don't include points of interest.
the magellan is, however, well suited to travel, hiking, boating, geocaching, etc. It's quite useful to, say, find your hotel again in an unfamiliar place or remember the location of a favorite restaurant.
the english car navigation has detailed maps, english directions, points of interest, is in colour, and is generally suited to being used strictly inside a car in Korea. |

Does the exercise bike break down into 2 pieces? Could I fit it in a small car? Like a Matiz? |

Yes, it does and, with a bit of creativity, I'm sure it'd fit... unforttunately, the bike has just been spoken for. If it falls through, I'll let everyone know... |
