You can DL the first 9 tracks of Ghosts here: http://ghosts.nin.com
BTW, how many tracks from The Slip did you get? When I downloaded it, the first two tracks were missing. I guess that was intentional. I'll just download them from Limewire or buy the two tracks as downloads from Amazon.com |

you misunderstand my question. im not trying to convert you to ninhilism. i'm literally asking, why bother clicking on the thread if you dont see the appeal?
but since you asked, my favorte nin album is "the fragile". download it, listen to the whole thing. "year zero" is also excellent, and of course, "the downward spiral" |

The Slip is good. Ghosts is ok, but is not the regular NIN groove. |

Ghosts is NiN's best work, because it doesn't contain any of trent's ridiculous lyrics. I'd recommend listening to each of the 4 ghosts cds in seperate sessions. The more you listen to it, the more you appretiate the subtleness of things. They should go back and release downward spiral without any lyrics. |

nin's lyrics are incredibly one-dimensional, i agree. but it's rock and roll, so i dont care. the music is visceral and intense. but it's been almost 15 years (hard to believe) since they were at the height of their popularity, so of course it's trendy now to be "over it" |

Two of my favorites that kind of showcase the harder and softer vocal sides Trent can pull off. Granted, he's no Maynard, but still...

Both of the videos are shiiiiiiite...one of them is fan made, the other is well...just no good. Tunes rock, though. |

It's not everyone's idea of a good time, but you could give Broken a listen. It's an EP, and as such, clocks in at just above thirty minutes; if it doesn't appeal to you, then it's no big loss. |
