You've hit the nail on the head.
I can pat myself on the back and say what a great person I am. I rape, vandalise telephone boxes, shoplift and burgle old grannies' houses - but I'm not a serial killer or anything like that! So congratulations on my good behaviour - after all Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dalmer are much worse than me, so what I do is OK and should be commended!!! |

Seriously, Israel isn't doing so bad considering its neighbors. As a Western nation, however, it is a certifiable human rights failure. |

A silly comparison. How many Western nations are surrounded by hostile nations to whom it is under constant threat? Which other Western nation has to put up with a barrage of rocket attacks? Which other Western nation has to endure the constant threat of its citizens being murdered in suicide attacks? |
