Is there a way to use a Lotte or Samsung Card to transfer money into someone's bank account?

Lets say someone has a Woori bank account. Can I jsut deposit money directly with my credit card?

Not sure if this helps, but I assume if its a VISA card, they all ought to work the same. I tried to do that but could never find the transfer button on the English menu (I have an SCB VISA).

Yesterday with a Korean colleague we tried again and all the transfer options were only on the Korean menu. Can't say if this is true for each and every ATM, but certainly for the 3 different banks I tried. The English menu covers only the basics, i.e. dispensing cash or checks (cheques, checques... pardon my French).

Next time I have someone write down the menu options for me (in Korean), also some of the bank names (in Korean, though that can be read with practice). Most important perhaps, the Korean words for "Accept"/"Cancel" and variations.

Perhaps a guide with pictures here would be nice, although security at the bank may be curious why someone would take photos at the ATM for an extended period of time

Just transfer the $ using your internet banking acct. Easy as pie and all you need is a putor.
