After doing an internet search on Tesco Imported Premium Lager i just found out that it is actually Grolsh in a Tesco can.
You can buy it from Homeplus and on the can it reads "Produced in the Netherlands". It's 5% and while it's not the greatest beer in the world (it's Grolsh), it still blows most of the other lagers available out of the water.

Now, you can either believe this post or not believe it. I have nothing to gain by posting lies on an internet forum so your response is of little interest to me. However if you're going to say i'm wrong then at least prove yourself right rather than turning to insults.

Fantastic. BUT, you can get Stella, Leffe, Hoegarden, etc. in Costco.

You can get Kronenburg from 7/11, and that blows everything , including anyone who drinks it, off the planet.

It's a decent beer. Currently 20% off beers at my local Homeplus too. Less than 5,000 for a pack of four 440ml cans of 5% Dutch lager isn't bad.

Ya but you need to buy Stella in that gift pack. I I'd be much happier if i could get a full thing of Stella.

You can also get most of those at emart or homever.

Kronenburg is absolute garbage.

Good point about the availability of other decent lagers, but price wise you can't go far wrong with the Tesco/Grolsch. Plus it's made in Europe.

Here's an Imported Beer Shopping Tip:

Back when Carrefour was still Carrefour, I strolled in there one afternoon to buy something special for my birthday. I found an imported beer being sold at a fairly high price (this was some years ago, so the exact details are a little vague...) Being that I was in a good mood, I decided to buy an entire six-pack for myself to enjoy. However, there were no convenient carrying cartons available for that particular brand, and I didn't feel like lugging 6 loose bottles of beer in a plastic bag, so I grabbed a pack of something less worthy (probably Budweiser) off the shelf, removed the offending containers, and dropped my 6 precious bottles of rich, dark nectar into the King of Cartons.

So, I head to the checkout, fully willing and prepared to pay for my treats, when the checkout clerk grabs the carton, swipes the code on IT rather than the code on the bottles, and the register rings up a price of some 8-or-9 thousand won instead of the 20-odd I was expecting.

KC blinks once.... twice... hands over one of the 3 man won in his hand... takes his change... and boogies on outta there.

Now, it doesn't work every time, but it has worked for me more than once.

Good luck out there~

Not thievery. Just being smart enough to keep your mouth shut and save a chunk of change.

Honesty is laudable, but dumb if it results in giving an international corporation more money than you need too.

Ah , The Eric Cartman school of ethics. It's not cheating/stealing if you don't get caught....it's smart. You're in the right country for that sort of thinking by the way.
