go to r16korea.com or r16korea.co.kr - all the info you need - Suwon, may 31 & june 1

I had a korean co-worker buy the tix from interpark.com cause the english language site doesn't have the more expensive standing room tix.

looks sick - pokemon crew will be there, I'm going both days.

I used to piss my pants laughing when I saw white guys all dressed that way. Now I've come to realize an indisputable truth: The only thing funnier than a white dude dressing "ghetto" is an asian dude dressing "ghetto".

Anyone seen that Crown J on Korean TV?? Funniest thing ever.

I agree that the pseudo-gangster vibe is utterly pathetic, but if you can look past that for a sec it's hard to dispute that Koreans are pretty damn good at that kind of dancing...I mean, come on! Dropping down into a one handed handstand, holding it, doing a one-handed handstand pushup, and then popping back up with a handspring? That's pretty impressive.
Too bad they dress like such wadlickers and take themselves so damn seriously.
Then again, dancers usually do.

Everyone looks stupid in G'd out clothing, not just white people and asians - but that's just my opinion. It's too bad people think those clothes and the crap rap they hear is Hip-Hop. Besides, it isn't any worse than a pink polo on a guy or 10 adjoshis standing next to each other in the same shiny grey suit. Also, it's better than that emo shite with the sagged skinny pants and a nouveau mod haircut.

Korean bboys are sick at acrobatics but have a long way to go when it comes to personal style and actual dancing. Their routines look like something straight out of this years MTV videos. I'm still psyched to go - Love watching acrobatics.

I'm all for personal freedom. I'm a libetarian. I want people to be free to live their lives in any which way they wanted.

But I'd ban B-Boying the second I could.

Firstly by allowing people to "b-boy" we are writing a gallactic suicide note. No intelligent beings in the universe who have the means will now miss the opportunity to decimate our species.

Secondly : Far be it from me to decide how best humanity spends its time and how we strive to advance the dignity of the species ......I'm not trying to tell people what to do....more just what NOT TO DO , so if I could I'd just like to veto B-boying ....

Thirdly : It sells a lie. I just don't see how spending your every waking hour in some attempt to emulate some brainless image of coolness you saw on mtv in any way relates to being cool in any shape , way or form . And rather that when you prace around in baggy clothing , posturing your 5 foot 3 frame around as if you are tough ...that in fact all you emulate is a TW@t.

I'm only trying to think of the kids . They will have to look back on their lives one day and the years and effort they wasted trying to make themselves look totally idiotic , when they could have been doing something useful and not totally...well......gay.

Which brings me to another point...I'm tolerant... if my kid came in one day and told me he's sexuality leaned towards being gang banged by the cast and crew of queer eye for the straight guy..I'd cancel the rugby season tickets etc but I'd learn to be cool with it....but if he came in dressed like a b-boy and started to try and show me his "moves"......well.....I'd disown him . I could tolerate my child having quirky sexual preferences....but being so stupid as to by into that lampooing and raping of all that we're striven for years to achieve as a species......get out my house kid and never come back !

Being an artist is cool ? Frankly I can't see the difference between people painting on canvas and w@nking on it. It's the pretentious version of a used car salesman. Cheap easy trickery praying on the stupid.

Take "modern art" for example. The entire value placed on whether art will be considered good or not lies in the subjective eyes of "art critics" who have been known to unwittingly praise the work of 3 year old children , heroine addicts who've cynically thrown paint around at random to secure funds for some more junk and various animals with no semblence of frontal lobes.

I'm sorry...the whole thing is B0llocks , done by p!sstakers or idiotic kids who take themselves far more seriouslt that is warranted. Either it's perfectly obvious and would be better served on a t-shirt without the pretentious gallery champagne parties...or it's meaning is so subliminal that basically there can be no argument made for it's objective value...in which case it's left to the random subjective values of people...who forgive me for saying...are total knobs.

Got a little carried away there. But anyone using their brain will come to the obvious conlusion that art is b0llocks.

What cool activity do I do ?

I wouldn't know...I do a lot of junk that entertains me....I make little animations , write , make 3d models of my resturant to be , cook ...and all sorts of stupid cr@p ....I never once stopped for a minute to consider if any of it was "cool" or not .....what the hell man ? Are we supposed to live our lives in one big social pose ? Chiselling away at our behaviour so that it rings the right social chords ? What an empty and hollow way to see your world and I pity you . But not enough to not tell you to P!ss off.

B-boy, locking, stepping, hip-hop - it's all cool! Doesn't matter who does it.
