| The answer is probably no, but I was wondering if police stations in Korea have any FBI fingerprint forms? That's what my state back home needs, and they said they wouldn't accept any Korean forms. |

Why are you doing the FBI check? You can do the state one.
All you have to do is do what I did. Go to your DPS site (Department of Public Safety) and pay by credit card for your CRC, and then go to the US Embassy and get an affidavit. I don't know if you tried that route. |

I'm not doing the FBI check, I'm doing the state one. My state requires fingerprints for all background checks, so I can't get mine online. |

Is regular printer paper fine, or would I need some special paper?
Also, does anyone know if a drug paraphanalia charge would prevent me from getting a new visa? It was about 5 or 6 years ago, and I could get it erased but that would still take 120 days to clear. |

I have a friend who does this sort of stuff for a living. He's in Houston, Texas. PM me and I'll get you the email address and such. He's very reliable.
BTW, if you need an actual FBI check or even just the paperwork, I'm sure he can help, but if you only need a simple police check for Korean Immigration, a local police or sheriff's letter is better. My friend in Texas should be able to help either way (regardless of where you lived in the states).

| Considering that the FBI is an organization based in the US, Korean police will not have any information regarding the FBI. You're in Korea. You are very far from the US. Go online, do a state police check from Texas. (I hear with Texas, it doesn't matter if you are from there or not, you can still get a check through their state police.) |

I know that you can get fingerprint forms required for FBI checks from near the US base at Yongsan. I forget the name of the exact building you need to go to but its about 500m north of Samgaki station, on your left. Its not on the main part of the base and hence is accessible to all.
Head in there during the mornings and they will fingerprint you on the required form for free. |

| my state also required fingerprints using the FBI form. i just googled it, printed it on regular paper, and had the prints taken at my local korean police station. no problems, and my check was processed and mailed to me without a hitch. |
