Hi,
I took some photos with my phone and I want to put them onto my computer. I bought a USB and the guy at the LG store says I need to download musicon. It's not working. It won't take my name / ID combo, and I've tried various permutations of it. I've done it for other Korean sites, but it's not working there, even though the site says it takes ARC numbers. Any troubleshooting tips?
Also, is there a way I can do it via another program? I mean, every single middle school girl is able to put photos from their phone to their computer, so it's gotta be pretty easy. I assumed it was just a matter of plugging in a usb to a computer, but I guess not. Anything else I can do?
If nothing turns up I guess I can ask somebody at work next week, but I'd like to do it on my own. Thanks.

No, I don't.
Update:
Okay, so I downloaded MusicOn without having to log in. My phone is connected, but my photos are not showing up. The only files that are showing up on the MusicOn Manager are the three photos that are used for background photos. I can't get to my photo album, and I don't know how to get my photo album onto my computer. Anybody know how to do this?
I'm going to the LG store in a few hours to ask, but if anybody can tell me how to do it in English, it'd be a big help. I didn't envision it would have been such a hassle to figure out how to do this.
Thanks. |

How the hell did you manage to get MusicON without logging in? I had to go through so much BS just to get make a username from LG.. all because I'm a foreigner. Anyway, you may need to download the drivers as well as the program! The installation instructions on the website are very confusing, and require you to install things in a specific order. If you're still having problems, maybe get a Korean friend to help you navigate through the menus.
Honestly, the app is a piece of sh*t and I'd advise you buy a Micro SD card if your phone can take it. Then just save your pics to this external memory..
Anyone else who needs the MusicON app, PM me. Be advised: you need the Korean version of Windows to read the menus properly. |

This is becoming such a pain in the ass. I don't understand why I can't just plug my phone into my computer and take the pics off it. So, anyway, I dowloaded Music On---I just clicked the proper download button---but couldn't access my photos for some reason. I went to the LG store again this afternoon and another guy told me that Music On was only for music, and that I'd have to download a program from clubcyon.com. Took me a while to find it, but I finally found it. So, I did that but I can't get to my photos for some reason. Before I can log on---and I HOPE logging on will finally let me get to myphotos---I have to type in my phone's secret number . . . I have no idea what my phone's secret number is.
Because I left my camera at home this weekend I took a ton of photos with my camera out of necessity, and if I'm not able to get to them because of some more bullshit like this I'm going to put a hole through my wall. I bought my phone second hand, so I'm going to that store tomorrow and I'm not leaving until they (1) figure out this "secret number" thing (2) install that clubcyon program themselves, and (3) show me exactly how to get to my photos. If not, I think I'm going to put a hole in somebody else's wall.
Anyway, thanks for your response Tommy. |

What you can do with your phone depends on the model. I have a LG-LC3500 and can mess about with photos and MP3s, but not ringtones. Anyway:
You can download the LG Mobile Manager software (which will upload/manage MP#s in your MusicON folder) and the Cyon Sync software (which will manage pictures and perhaps messages and the calendar). If you check your phone's manual, the addresses are there or just Google it (you'll need to be able to read some Korean). The USB cable drivers are also there to download.
As an alternative, you may be able to get BitPim to work - but it doesn't for my phone. |

Possibly the last four digits of your telephone number or 0000. |

Okay, maybe I'll get an LG guy to walk me through MusicOn. I ended up just shotmailing the pics to my email account, although it took forever.
Man, that cyon program really did a number on my computer, loading it up with spyware and a bunch of other programs. Caused IE to seize up about two dozen times in 24 hours. |
