I've seen this drink everywhere, and have recently tried it myself. It comes in a clear/white bottle with bits of pink, and it says 2% and peach. I really like it, but I'm not quite sure what it is. Is it just flavored water or is it a Gatorade type drink? |

It is awesome and great for hangovers...also try the lemon flavored version. It's name is exactly that--2%, or 이 프로 (ee pro) in Korean. I used to be into the Amino Up drink, but I found out that had some strange heavy metals in it. |

Honestly, that drink is great. But get this. My exgirlfriend worked for Woongjin in the advertising and marketing department. She was developing the slogan (in English and Korean) and the drink was called"Aqua Vita." It was almost a copy of that peach drink, but waaaaaaaay better. It was my fav drink in Korea, and if you tried it, you'd think it was much better than that 2% drink (although quite similar). Anyhow, Woongjin released it too late, and pulled it from the shelves because the marketing was done too late and nobody had heard of it... and also... they were spending all their resources on another drink (their most famous one, with the wheat in the picture) damn, forget the name now...
But yeah, am now "stuck" to drinking that 2% drink. I'll always miss Aqua Vita. |

If I remember correctly, that 2% drink used to be called "Human Water" and featured ads with FinKL. We all had a good laugh about the name and the company must have been told that the name was strange because suddenly, all the new cans didn't have "Human Water" written on them. I found a store that still had some old cans and bought a couple. They are now safely stored back in the States. |

Haha, human water. Just so you guys know, the big bosses at these drink companies DO NOT listen to foreigners about what a good English name is. I tried convincing a boss at Woongjin to change the slogan for Aqua Vita cuz it made no sense and had bad grammar... he didn't listen to me... and just insisted upon the incorrect /dumb sounding slogan
That's why u guys see horrid slogans all over the place in this country... they only seem to care about how a word looks visually |

There was a blurb in the Korean news a while back that consumers were boycotting Pocari Sweat, of sorts, due to added MSG. Hmm, a sports drink that makes you fat? That's healthy. |

2% is great if you have a sore throat or a bad reaction to the yellow dust. It doesn't do anything; it just makes you feel better.
Pocari Sweat is Satan's ball sweat. |
