Having looked at the monthly rainfall data (for Manila) it seems this is the worst time to go.
Is it possible to have a "beach vacation" anywhere in the Philipines or other Asian destinations at this time?
Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Most of SouthEast Asia is hit and miss this time of the year. As long as no typhoons are hitting-the weather is still nice. Heavy rain in the early afternoon that dries up really quickly.
Your only sure bet is Bali since Indonesia's rainy season is different. |

I went to Boracay in July a few years ago... was told its a horrible time... The weather was perfect and everything was half-price... way cheaper than Manila... Try "niki niki nu nu's" (www.asiahotels.com).. was about $20/ night and nice.. right on the beach (across a little path... but great for the $... has a small bar there too) |
