Does anyone know anywhere in Korea that sells the Creative Zen MP3 player? I've heard good things about them and would like to pick one up. If anyone owns the aforementioned player please give me any feedback. I had an iRiver clix 2 but it was terrible. If you want more in depth info PM me, but i'd advise to steer clear. It's a shame because it gets good reviews online.
Also what is the deal with using SD cards for more memory? Is it as simple as putting it in the player and hey presto you have more memory? |

I haven't seen any creative stuff here.
I would suggest Sandisk ones.. They use MicroSD cards..
2nd Question. Yes they do add additional Memory (SD Card)
You can also look at the Cowon D2. |

My two cents..
You can find creative stuff in Seoul, but it will be quite expensive compared to the American price. However, it might be worth it. I have an 8gb zen and it is the best player I've owned (I've gone thru Zune, iPod, and Cowon stuff). It is user friendly. The only problem is that syncing podcasts can be annoying if you have a daily routine.
The sound quality is fantastic. |

i have a creative zen. A word of warning the SD card is not integrated. I also had trouble installing the software and having it recognize my player at first. It's been smooth sailing since then. The sound quality is good but not excellent. a friend picked mine up for me in the UK for about 140,000 won. I see on Danawa.com it's over 200,000 won. ouch. |

Hi folks,
Thanks for all the advice and information. Special thanks to Spliff for the links to purchase online.
After seeing the prices online I've started having doubts. I don't want to buy another Korean made MP3 player as i've had alot of bad experiences with Korean products. The Creative is a great value purchase in the UK, (i had a look on argos.co.uk), but in Korea i could buy an 8gb nano for the same price as a 4gb Zen. I can't help that feeling buying a Zen instead of a nano would be cutting off my nose to spite my face. I will have a look at the Sandisk players though as a possible alternative.
Any further thoughts are welcome. |

i have the 4gb cowon D2. it's a brilliant little device: touch screen, voice recorder, music, movies, dictionary, flash player, heaps more.
it also has an SD card slot ... great for upping the memory. i have 4 gig SD card in there now, but i'm going to upgrade to 16gb in a month or two.
awesome machine ... and the best part is that i can add music and movies using windows without any software ... i can add files by exploring the relevant folders.
simple! |
