not too sure about the exact brand you are looking for, but iv found it piss easy to get protein here. Just go to a 2nd floor style crappy gym and they will sell it behind the counter. You dont need to join, they will be happy to sell you a tub or whatever, i need creatine though, i know this comes up often but does anyone know where i could get some creatine monohydrate |

my gym has it.. I noticed it tonight (just got back)
I think they order it from somewhere. If you'd like I can get the 411 for you.
What I REALLY wish I could get my hands on is some ephedrine. Just because a couple of fat fucks died probably taking too much of the stuff, the fucking lawyers stepped in and the politicians fell over themselves banning the stuff.
I can lose weight/cut up without it, but it sure fucking helps.
Every single fat burner out there without ephedra sucks donkey schlong and is basically money down the toilet, despite their stupid claims that they're even better. |

Some pretty harsh words but yeah, a few people took too much, and hurt themselves. Not meant for people with heart problems as you would expect with anything that sets the adrenaline system off and acts as a fake adrenaline and then taken with caffeine to pump it harder and aspirin to thin the blood... hmmm... wonderful idea...
You might be able to get some at the hanguk, but not likely. It's been used in Chinese medicine for a long time and the ephedrine is still used in Korea for cold and respiratory infection... try finding it by it's Chinese name MaHuang or 마황 in Korean. |

harsh but true. I'm bucking the trend you see. Like Maher says.. truth shouldn't be less important than "feelings'
lawyers fell all over themselves as families of the fatties (or heart problemed unfortunates) tried suing the makers of the various products for every penny they had.
now I can't get any for me.. despite the fact I'd happily sign any disclaimer form releasing anyone from any responsibility for the stuff I CHOOSE to take.
this argument can actually even extend into steroids.. but like I said. I'm a libertarian. |

I tried ordering weight gainers and creatine from mass119, and some other Korean web sites. But It was just such a hassle it was ridiculous. First your ARC numbers aren't recognized. So you need a Korean to order for you. Then you have to spend over 100,000 to use a credit card. Or you have to go to the bank and do a wire transfer. And then they charge 10,000 W to ship it to you.
So I went to GNC.com, ordered everything I needed. Shipped it to my parents home. And had them ship it to me. The best part. If you use your gold card you save 15%. And orders over 100$ are shipped free. Just have them write "vitamins" on the box and undervalue the goods.
I've learned to avoid dealing with Korean websites, and wandering all over Seoul to find things like non-pleated pants, or deodorant. Order on-line, send it home, and have your folks send it to you to avoid the import tax.
Oh and you don't need protein. It is a myth. Drink a glass of milk. Same results. Much much cheaper. |
It's a well known fact that foreign ARC numbers don't work on nearly all Korean sites. After I ordered some creatine and protein two weeks ago from Mass119, they sent me an email within two hours to transfer the money. Within an hour after I sent the money they sent an email saying that they shipped everything. Three days later I got my package without any problems. |

I don't think milk is any cheaper, and it has the negative effect of being perishable.
Protein powder is $4.00 per dry pound for me (trueprotein.com). That is infinitely cheaper than milk. |

Just a comment about buying protein in Seoul. I went to Namdaemun today looking for some at the market and no one had any, although they did have lots of vitamins and other health supplements.
I ended up finding Whey Protein at Smoothie King....which I didn't even think to look in until I passed it in Yongsan. There is also one in COEX beside the movie theater and I'm sure there are others around the city.
