If you are feeling a bit angry to begin with don't click on the vid just yet. Although, it's not extremely bad, it just highlights a few things. If you are in a state of bliss with Korea it might destroy your calm a little.
This is a young Korean cop beating on an old woman.
She was asked to stoop selling kimbap while there was a protest so yeah, he may have been a bit stressed - but still, to get off scot-free is not cool.
Trouble is all the other men are cops too, so nothing will happen to him:
It won't be on the News due to censorship.
There's no blood or anything, just in my mind it shows two things clearly, that Korean people in general need to mellow out, and two there needs to be more democracy, and three (okay, three) so many Korean men seem like absolute weaklings. What's their problem???

have to watch for 40 seconds until ...

Was that a cop out of uniform? It doesn't look like a cop to me.

Looks like a student acting as a steward for one of the numerous beef protests we've seen. I couldn't see any cops. What does the 기로쟁(sp)비 on his back mean?

Anyway kinda of dumb for him to do that in front of a camera. If he is a student I hope he gets expelled as well as sued.

Actually I think that is a 가로정비 on his jacket which is a road worker ... yet, my boss, who showed me the vid in the first place, says he was a cop - he was under official rule what with telling the lady to make away, and also to guide and keep tabs on the protesters (at the river thing in Seoul btw,) and also that he had a lot of back-up.

Korean netizens are coming down on him though: "시발 이거보면 여기 도림2동 인데 시발 한번 밞아줄게 개새끼야 농담인줄 알지?? 시발년아 병신같은년아 너 같은 새끼는 ]내가 콩밥먹일거야 시발 누가 이기나 보자고 시발 도림2동으로 쳐 와라 내가 너 발라줄게"
Basically, this netizen wants to kick his head in, badly.

She's someone's mom. It's wrong.

The netizens might not act but at least they know that it is wrong.
As one netizen states, 'Wtf? This ain't Chosun Shidae, this is modern times.'

Evolution in progress. One day this state will have to adopt people-friendly policies.

I'd love for him to try that when he takes a holiday in the west. He would be instantly half-killed by any male bystander that happens to be passing by.

Korean police training appears to be a little lacking??
First rule is to defuse situations, keep a clear head, never get emotional, and protect the public.

Yeh, I would not want to be that kid in two days when the full force of the Netcitizens (Netcrazys) gets wound up. This is going to make the incident with the lady who wouldn't pick up her dog's crap on the subway look like a cake walk. Granted he is a major jackass, but what is coming for him will be a punishment that far outweighs the crime. He might just as well head to Canada now.

I saw a great fight tonight between eight of so drunk middle aged Korean guys. They were all beech slapping each other and it seemed to get worse when the cops came. I just stayed across the street laughing and shaking my head. Prices on everything in this country are rising except for the one thing that needs it the most...soju.

She struck first, she deserved it.

I don't like violance but no one has the right to hit any one. Just because your older it doesn't give you the right to hit people. In the west respect is not just blanket given just because your older you need to earn it.

The poor guy propable has been over controled by his mother all his life and when he was hit by another pushy bitch he lost it. He needs counceling.

Netizens are fucking idiots anyway.. Most of them are Armchair vigilantes.
