I bring good news.
Scientists estimate you have about a month without food whereas a mere three days without water for survival.
Tap water should do for now, and in the three weeks I am sure you'll think of something.
We're all pulling for you.

Noo!!
OP, dont listen to the extremists on this site! Look at the issue broadly, contextually and conceptually. Hold meetings. Set an agenda, appoint study panels and deliberate their findings, and of course devise an Action Plan for Leaving the Apartment and organise a specialised task force to implement it.
You'll learn to swim like the rest of us. These are exciting times, keep a journal. |

Boil 1.5l of water in your kettle. Dump it into an already hot pan. boil for 3 more minutes. throw in a bag of raymeong and the seasoning packets. 3 minutes more. Add 1 can of tuna (labeled "for Kinchi Chigae"), red paste of death, kimchi, and soy to taste.
Hell of a good veg noodle soup. |

And OP, make sure you cook that water well.... |

How to order food is a good question. When I was in Korea, I got tons of ads posted on my apartment door and tried to call, but never could get through. You do have to speak Korean or better yet; have a Korean order for you if possible. I lived in a fairly big city (Changwon), but hardly anyone spoke English outside of the recruiting Jehovah witness and Korean teachers. The Koreans at my school welcomed me to have them order food when I wanted it delivered to my door so I got quite a bit of interesting meals in real China ware that I would set outside for pickup after eating the meal.
I shopped at HomePlus and cooked food in a skillet on most day, but did eat out with many Koreans and acquired new culinary tastes and experienced something few Missourians could even imagine. I have a hankering for some Gamjatang and looking to get it in 3 to 4 weeks. That Korean beef and pork from Australia sold in HomePlus stores is the best quality I ever had. It's so lean like deer meat in America.
I am looking at learning more Korean, but I must say Asian languages are rather complicated.
Right now, I am BBQ'ing a KC strip steak in America with KC masterpeice BBQ sauce on a patio with a big flower garden and a huge yard with trees. It's lovely, but I can't stay in rural America as it's boring, family is always needing my help due to their irresponsibilities, and the job market sucks while my savings dwindle. And I want to travel more of the world...

To the starving man:
Food Delivery place: Yobesayo?
You: Annyeonghaseyo. Yogi (your address here, in Korean please).
Food Delivery place: Ne?
You: (the food you want) pay dal hey juseyo.
Food Delivery place: Ne!
Hang up.
Not probably the most proper way to do it, but you'll get your point across. |

OP, he's not joking. Rolling boil for at least 3 minutes. |

Try all of the numbers pasted on your door 'till it works... guaranteed!
Food Delivery place: Yobesayo? (name of restaurant)imnida!
You: Annyeonghaseyo. jajang myun Yi-in-bun juseyo
Food Delivery place: Ne? Odiso paedal hashingoyo?
You: (your address)
Food Delivery place: Ne!
Hang up.
I said 'yi' because sometimes they won't deliver just one. Start with the flyers on your door that look like they're for a chinese restaurant. |

I actually do that when I don't want to feel bad for eating pot noodles. |

But that would entail squatting on the floor in a shiktang, waiting 40 minutes for your food to be prepared, while having several sets of eyes bore into the back of your head. |

Why, man? Don't they have takeout where you are? The best kimchi I've ever had comes from this place just down the high street from me. Everything else tastes like I'm eating a salad. I can grab a sulgogi kimbap for $2. Nice lunch. |
