I also have a flower/plant that I've been trying to identify - at first I thought these were some type of fruit, but now they're opening up into flowers.
Great idea for a thread! Coming from a tropical area of the southern hemisphere there are many, many plants here I can't identify.
Can anyone recommend a good local flora book for South Korea?
ps That's a glorious photo by the way JJ. |

Yeah, I have been looking for a good flora and fauna book for Korea in English and have had no luck! |
