I'm considering a trip to JP in the near future, and have been investigating various methods of travel and weighing up costs. I'm in Busan, so the ferry is always an option. However, I'd still need a JR pass, and they're fairly spendy.

I think I MAY have found a solution though! The Korea-Japan Through Pass! It is sold through a partnership with KORAIL and Hong-ik Travel. The problem is, the site is Korean only, so I'm after some help.

Does anyone know whether this still exists?

Have you used one?

What are the terms and conditions?

Any and all assistance is appreciated! Very Happy

Does anyone know the answer to this?

This website is rather difficult to interpret: http://info.korail.com/2007/eng/etr/etr01000/w_etr01100.jsp
And the website that it refers to is all in Korean: http://www.7788tour.co.kr/

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I had to find my own answer due to the same issues.

It does, indeed, still exist. The KTX mag even had a short blurb on it.

Look like excellent value. Pity I didn't get to use it.

Give the travel agents a ring. I was advised that they do have english speakers on staff, and will have no problems sorting it out!
