Hey everyone I was just thinking about the drug test that I will have to take when I apply for a new visa, and then I started wondering if the fact that I take protein supplements with creatine might be a problem. Of course I know that is a bit ridiculous, but then again look at the government that we're dealing with. There doesn't seem to be an hard and fast rules with a lot of their regulations and things that appear in grey areas could be problematic. Anyway what do you think? Should it be a concern or not? |

There's no more drug test; they took it out of the E2 requirements. |

immi officer1: "What have you got in this teacher's blood sample? Cocaine, LSD, Heroin, marijuana?
immi officer2: "No, but..."
immi officer1: "methamphetamines, a high blood-alcohol level..."
immi officer2: "Well... it's his... amino acids... there's just too much of them..."
immi officer1: "the shame, the shame" |

if you work at a public school they might drug test you- they just had me take a test last week. It was just a standard, instant, urine test. They tested for 4 things: cannibis, cocaine, amphetamine, and morphine. Heroin metabolizes into morphine, so a heroin user would test positive for morphine. Creatine does not. |

Protein show up on a test? This has to be the dumbest shit i have ever read. What are they gone find you guilty off?
My public school did do a drug test on me just a physical. Drug tests are very difficult to get here. Just because they took a blood sample it doesn't mean you are going to be tested for drugs. Its not the the norm here. |

The drug test was definitely NOT taken out of the Medical Check ... They only removed the testing for Cannibus in the Drug Test rather than the whole drug test ... I gather that the drug testing includes both the blood test and the urine test ... I initially had a Not Positive/Not Negative test on the drug test ... For no obvious reason because the only things I take are legal prescription medicine ... What my Principal said to me was that they had said that the blood was clear but the urine test was positive so I had to do the urine test again ... The second time it was clear ... And that was between 1 and 2 weeks ago ... The thing that makes me most happy in all this is that none of this cost me anything because my school paid for both the intial test and for the second test ... |

If your amino acid levels are too high, they may accuse you of eating American beef. You'll be barred from entering the country for 5 years whereupon you'll be accepted in spite of hysterical protests. |
