I have a Filipina friend who would like to attend an Introduction to TESOL at ECC in Thailandhe sent me this portion of the pre-admission test to check his grammar. What he does not understand so well is I was an Economics major and a poor English student my whole life (I feel I am a good English conversation teacher but avoid all things technical).

Please have a look and help me with the answers. Thanks in advance:

* Please indicate the sentences that use the passive voice:

a. Ive finished the book you lent me.

b. I was fined for driving too fast.

c. He watched a movie yesterday.

d. BMWs are made in Germany.

*Please indicate the main stressed syllable in these words:

a.Thailand b. pronunciation c. teacher

d.education e. grammar f. sentence
