Can anyone tell me the nearest station to the Chinese Embassy in Seoul? Had a look on the website but everything is in Chinese and Korean

The consulate is at the bottom of the tram at Namsom. i can't recall the exit, I think its Donguk. |

myeong dong station...exit 2 or 3........if you are going for a visa, just get it through the travel agent....that embassy is a freakin mess....closed everyday for lunch which results in huge lines every morning and afternoon |

'Relative, inviter or contract' who am i supposed to put for this? |

I heard that starting from the beginning of this year, the Chinese Embassy would no longer be open to personal callers (i.e. you have to submit your visa application through a travel agent). Perhaps someone can confirm this. |

Yes, this was the case for me. I applied for my visa last October and I had to go through a travel agent.
There are a ton of travel agents doing this on the way up the hill from Myong-dong station. The Embassy has set fees, so learn these first, (can be read at the main gate to the embassy) so they don't over charge you. |
