We have a 3-way tie after 3 rounds!!! PinkFreud, Donkey "Nostradamus" Beer & SarcasmKills are all poised to compete for bragging rights, as well as a few others still in the running!!!!!!
Please double-check my scoring as I am still terrible at math...
Also, please note:
TIEBREAKER PICK!!!
Choose the total number of goals in this Stanley Cup Finals. This will serve only as a tiebreaker in the event we have one. Closest without going over (kinda like The Price Is Right ) gets the tiebreak!
GOOD LUCK!!!
Also note:
The winner will get a delicious meal-in-a-glass pint of Guinness in the Itaewon/Hongdae location of his or her choice on Hanson. Others who wish to join are more than welcome to toss a few back in good company. |

Let me give you some insight, then.
Pittsburgh in 6.
The young kids (Malkin, Crosby, Fleury) are going to be the story of this Stanley Cup Finals. The Wings will run into a wall - Fleury is going to prove his worthiness as a first-round pick, - Lidstrom, Chelios and Osgood will show their age, and the mighty Wings will choke like they usually do. Yet another season where the President's Trophy winner doesn't win the Cup.
And this will prove, once and for all, that all is good in the hockey world and that the Dallas-Wings series wasn't the "real finals" as some would like to believe.
Or not...
EDIT - I didn't include total goals, cuz, well, there's no way I can win anyway... |

I'm waiting for those puckers on top to decide. Then I'll choose different.

No goals picked because the tiebreaker is unnecessary: I knew no one else would predict a Detroit SWEEP.
The top four or five teams in the West are vastly better than any in the East this season.
I was surprised each round by Pittsburgh's success, but considering their opposition, that's not saying much.
Seriously. |
