If I have 1 or 2 million won in Bangkok, where's the best place to change it?

Black Market money changer in Pratunam.

Best rate for Won in the city.

I'll do a search and see if I can remember where it is. If not I'lll call the missus and ask her.

Can't find it just now but this place was recommended

Better yet, don't take won out of Korea. Get something that is convertible instead like dollars or Euros.

Even the exchange rates (won to baht) at the Incheon airport is better than anything you will get converting won outside the country.

Dollars or Euros sounds good because you get lovely 100$ and Euro notes. Easy to carry instead of a wodge of won.

Thank you guys for your advice.

I haven't changed any money here, will whatever bank want to stamp the old passport? A simple yes, no, or I don't know will suffice. I don't want a fookin' rant about civil servants etc. I bank with KEB and Nong Hyup. Am I right in thinking that under a million will not be stamped?
