It is a real insult to Korea by not including ALL the Korean beers!!! By not including all the beers in your list, you further demean Korea. So I'm starting my own poll

Which is the best Korean beer??

A) ASS (cass)
B) B.O. (OB)
C) SHITE (hite)

I think you could pour a series of glasses full of the poll choices and most people would have a hard time discerning which was which.

By the stating you want mainstream beers, I'd probably go with Corona.

For smaller stuff, Pete's Wicked Brew would be up there on my list.

But really, I'd take a decent cider over any beer.

I guess a beer from Mexico would have been a more thorough survey but I would have thought Corona should be in a different category. I didn't think it was a lager or pilsner but I suppose it is. However it could be in the light beer category even though it is 4.6%.

I didn't think many people would pick Budweiser. Maybe it's truly the
"King of Beers."

I can't believe Bud got so many votes. I'm American, and I've drunk more Bud in Korea (maybe 4 bottles since I've been here) than I did in the last few years I was back home. The only times I ever drank Bud in the U.S. was at a baseball game or something, and only when it was the only beer available. Even at ball games, I'd at least upgrade to Miller (or Old Style at Wrigley).

I'd vote Heineken amongst these. It's my standard airplane beer, that I order when I'm too lazy to ask the stewardess what's available.

I prefer the non-alcoholic version of Hite. It's called "Hate". I kid you not.

Emart has 10-30% off all import beers this month. I picked up a german beer called oettinger and it is damn good for only 8,000 for a six pack!

every thread on beer goes on until somebody posts a beer which name looks like the name on a petty junker's birth certificate.
