How many of you can do the following:
The test:
100 Push-ups
100 Sit-ups
20 CHINS
2 Mile Run (3.2 km)
I can only do about half the pushups, situps, chins - but I can do the run.
Just wondering how long it should take with daily workouts to reach that goal. |

I could do all of the above, but the chin-ups. 20 chin-ups are a lot. When I was in the Army the max standards for a male 17-21 years old were:
78 sit-ups in 2 minutes
71 push-ups in 2 minutes
2 mile run in 13 minutes
All these standards are for a max PT score of 300.

In 8 weeks working out everyday all these standards can be reached. I have seen the most out of shape people reach these standards, if they can do it anyone can. We would do a 5 mile run every Friday. The run is always the hardest for everyone to max out on. |
