I had a student ask me how many koreas could fit inside Canada, I found out the answer was 100, then I asked each of my classes, the students, uni and high school came up with mostly 2,3, 5, 10. Nobody came even close.

Wow...you're awesome. Does that make you feel more like a man? Just like how the Canadian patch on your backpack makes you feel?

wow ... weird replies.

I think it is fun and good for the kids to try and put things in perspective like that. It is hard to conceptualize what thousands of kilometers really is ... putting it like this might actually help them understand something about the world.

I didn't see the OP as saying that the kids were foolish or that Canada is 100 times as awesome as Korea.

edit: typo

The kids often lament that Korea is small, which it is, but there are many countries even smaller.

Korea is 109 out 235 on this list:

why are you so proud of how geographically large canada is? you should be ashamed that such a massive country is of so little international importance.

God, you're pathetic. You started a post a few days ago about this exact same thing. Are you so hard up on things to attack Korea with that you're recycling geography related one-up-manship?
