I have some time this Summer, and I am thinking of visiting one of the two.
If you were to choose one, with your own personal interests, which would you choose and why? |

Go to Naadan Festival in UlanBaator, Mongolia. Its July 11th.
P.S., some Mongolian girls are drop-dead gorgeous. |

Faced with a choice of Mongolia or Kazakhstan, I voted for Kazakhstan.
I mean to me, four (of the six) central Asian republics are pretty cool by any standard (certainly Kazakh, Kyrgz, Uzbek and Turkmenistan are all good): big sky, friendly people, great food and most people understand at least some Russian.
Tajikistan and to a lesser extent Azerbaijan are the two iffy ones (human trafficking, huge corruption, environmental destruction etc).
As far as Kazakh goes, I would say go to Alma Ata and then quite feasible to do a side-trip to Kygyz as well, as it is very short distance only.
Kazakh interests me more than Mongolia because Kazakh is maybe 50% muslim, the rest Russian Orthodox or other religion. So it is an interesting mix with no one overpowering ideology. |

I kind of expected a non-answer. I'll try again. Have you been to Mongolia?
Or, answer this similar question, do you have anything substantive to contribute to this thread? |

Yes. Singapore. Malaysia has a lack of them too.
Egypt has the worst looking arab girls. Gulf states can't see much of them.
So yes, I personally have been to countries that seriously lacked in that department. |

You didn't answer my question either. Anyways, no, I haven't been to Mongolia, but that's irrelevant, as I am not saying there aren't drop-dead gorgeous girls there (I have met a few stunners from there), but am just saying there are some drop-dead gorgeous girls in every country, so it's not a good reason to choose which country to go to. Actually, it's just lame to even use that as a reason for why someone should visit a country.
I've been to Malaysia and saw plenty of pretty girls, though most of them were Chinese and not actually Malay. |

The Mongolians are attractive points in the thread. Without having been there, but seeing many pictures and meeting a few Mongolians, don't they look pretty much exactly like Koreans? |

Similar, but not exactly the same. The real point is, they look similar to Koreans (i.e. are very hot) without being awash in Korean cultural attitudes.
Now tell me that is not hot.

Well, I was only in Mongolia for a week. So I felt unable to contribute on more than a superficial level. Plus, I was pretty sure I was relegating the whole Mongolian-girls-are-hot meme to a less than essential status when I prefixed it with 'P.S.' So, just as it would be kind of a lame reason to go to a country because it has great beer, its certainly yet something else that can be admired once you're there. |
