if she was an asshole like most of the people on this board, i'd say no.

if she was wise, fair and kind, i'd say yes.

age kills all and especially the looks of all.

but I think she remains attractive for her age (which has to be 70 plus, maybe 80 plus)

I would wager she was hot as recently as 30 years ago though.

btw.. ubersheisse (clever nickname btw.. I know what sheisse means in German) the question was not whether she was a beautiful "person" - the question when posed as such usually refers to her physical appearance. If that offends you, maybe you should start a new and "reformed" society. Smile

want to talk about age sucks the big one.. I just came across this picture of Jean Claude Von Damme the other day... it just made me sick

I remember this guy as a kid when he was a stud..

and now, you see this.. makes you want cry. At least he hasn't allowed himself to get fat I suppose.

wow. van damme is looking kind of.....special.

i think the woman is pretty, age considered. i dont know if she's the same person, but there was a mayonnaise or Miracle Whip (I can't remember) commerical in the States with a woman who looked a lot like that woman, and she was gorgeous. If it's the same person, that's a really bad picture.

Either way, by the time I'm 80 or older like she probably is, I'll consider myself very lucky if I look that good. She's very skeletal, though.

The problem with these questions, BB, is that they are pseudo questions. What you are really asking here is "what sex are you?"

The 12 "no" votes are all from guys. The 10 "yes" votes are mostly if not all from women.

The woman in your OP is infertile. She is totally incapable of reproduction. As such, there is no justification (other than fetishism) for finding her remotely attractive. Men like fertile women.

From Psychology Today:

Quote:
Many believe that men go through a midlife crisis when they are in middle age. Not quite. Many middle-aged men do go through midlife crises, but it's not because they are middle-aged. It's because their wives are. From the evolutionary psychological perspective, a man's midlife crisis is precipitated by his wife's imminent menopause and end of her reproductive career, and thus his renewed need to attract younger women. Accordingly, a 50-year-old man married to a 25-year-old woman would not go through a midlife crisis, while a 25-year-old man married to a 50-year-old woman would, just like a more typical 50-year-old man married to a 50-year-old woman. It's not his midlife that matters; it's hers. When he buys a shiny-red sports car, he's not trying to regain his youth; he's trying to attract young women to replace his menopausal wife by trumpeting his flash and cash.

I'd honestly, really really, rather try gay sex than screw that absolute hag.

Is she beautiful? Is the Pope Protestant?

No. I asked what I asked. I didn't ask you "Is she f**kable?" That's something else.

This morning I left at dawn, and looked up to observe the changes in the sky as I walked up the hill, and said to myself "that's so beautiful." Interestingly, I did not (not even for a fleeting moment) fantasise about f**king the sky, despite my great appreciation for its splendour.

When we ask "is a person beautiful?" we invite comment from heterosexuals. When we ask "is the sky beautiful?", we do not.

I think you have taken such a shine to evolutionary psychology, that you are too consciously trying to use it to explain too much.

It seems that you can only see beauty in a person you envisage f***ing. Not everyone is like you, including other straight men.

Do you not ever look at your mother, and find her beautiful?

I think she is beautiful. Beautiful is not the same as attractive. I don't think she is attractive but probably was when she was younger. You can say a woman is beautiful and not want to f*ck her, despite whatever bullsh*t television show you watch tells you.

There are many attractive women who cannot conceive without medical intervention. Would you dismiss them as not beautiful because they are infertile?

Is Psychology Today sponsored by Askmen.com or FHM or some other bullsh*t? Because that is the most simplistic Daily Mail misogynistic peice of crap I have ever read.

Yes, yes, yes. Men are machines, utterly enslaved to their desires without any free will whatsoever. Every man without fail will ditch his wife for a younger woman. Every man cheats. Every man. Not one excpetion. We are machines and do whatever the latest pop psychology tell us to do.

Please don't pull any statistics out of your ass to defend your caveman ideas. The world can't be arsed. There is no emotional argument you can come up with to defend your position.
