Purely out of curiosity, I checked a few of the wireless routers in my apartment building. Most of them still had the default usernames and passworks. I could have basically owned them, until they figured it out and reset them, anyways.
1. Change the username and password!
2. Make your router hidden. Nothing is absolutely secure, but everything helps a little.
3. Set up some WPA or WPA2 encryption, with a 'passkey' that you need to enter in order to access it.
4. Just for kicks, change the name of your router to something very weird and unpredictable.
5. Try to share with those who are less fortunate than you, who cannot afford Wifi access on their own. Do you really need all those 10Mbps to yourself? |

Can someone please tell me where I can find English firmware for my myLG070 APA-2000 WAP? I'm ready to just flash the sucker.
Cheers,
