Yeah, I've been here for a year and a half, and I miss major league baseball. So I bought the "high quality" baseball thing online and just watched a couple games.

It's cool cause you can watch at any times, time differences don't matter.

However I just watched my fav. team the Dodgers, they lost 4-0, scoring no runs, right now I'm watching my 2nd fav. team the Angels, they're 0-0 in the fifth inning.

And American sportswriters complain about soccer being boring. Anyway, if you're into baseball and have some spare cash, it is nice to watch the games at your leisure at mlb.com. Just don't read the scores before you do.

The only bad thing is it is hard to get to the games WITHOUT seeing the scores on the site.

Great product though.

You can bookmark this part of the site.

http://mlb.mlb.com/mediacenter/index.jsp#20080522

(you have to click forward for new games).

Then, when the box comes up you click off the news on the the bottom left thing of the viewer. Also on the right you have news stuff but I put the viewer on the right of my screen so it hides the scores (rarely shows that but like "Pujols hit a homer" etc).

btw Angels up 2-0 atm. sweet!

yeah, I have that as well. It's pretty much the greatest thing online I wish the NBA, NFL and NHL could copy that system.

The few glitches are seeing the score on the mlb.com page which you can bypass, the highlights being listed on the video screen giving you the major plays in the game. Also the fact that they remove the commercials is nice, but the MLB white screen is probably more annoying then the commercials.

Love watching my Jays games, but my gf doesn't enjoy it as much, haha.

Yes, but the NHL one isnt nearly as conveniant as MLB. On Centre Ice you have to watch the games live and they get archived a week later.

The MLB games are archived immediately.

Yeah, once you know how to use the player, it's pretty easy watching games without seeing the scores.

I also have the premium, but can't get the 1.2 MB feed to work(a runtime error pops up, even after opening the high def add-on), can anyone else? Also, some games have a 2 inch black border surrounding the picture, anyone have luck getting rid of this?

Only the espn televised games on Sundays are blacked out(I think). My team rarely, if ever, is on that so it doesn't affect me.

Ironically I was watching the Dodger game and I forgot to move my browser to the right to hide the news and I saw the "Eithier hits walk off single" so I knew the the Dodgers won the game from the start.

But I wanted to see Kershaw's debut which was very impressive indeed for a 20 year old guy, and was stoked about that. This guy's gonna be a star.

The moral: as soon as you log on move the browser to the right of the screen so you don't get news that gives away the game.
