I went to Yongsan on Saturday and had a hard time finding anyone who would mod it . The one guy I found said it would take 5 days and 80000w (he seemed a bit dodgy so I passed). I don't know Yongsan that well, but I found the underground video game strip. Has anyone had a good experience or can pass on a number? BTW I live in Incheon so the closer the better. Cheers.

I went to a guy, he said 24 hours. I left it with him. Came back a few days later since I was busy and he gave me the choice of my old system back unmodded or an older system modded. Some BS about it not being able to mod it.
I decided not to after he told me any problems after that were mine.

I have the SATA controller at home for modding them but I have never got around to doing it. Probably won't

Screw that. How do you know you even got your old system back. Or parts changed out.

What DVD drive do you have in it?

You just need a PC, VIA 6XXXX (can't remember number) chipset E-Sata card, torx 10 driver and a couple of small programs off the internet.

Only problems I can see are with the Hitatchi 79 drives which need a hard mod.
