yea guy sounds like a total scum

but when you're over the bitterness..
you should make room in your heart to feel pity for the guy
the guy must've have had a messed up upbringing seeing the way he lives and thinks. you know, lack of good parenting or lack of good education, values or discipline.

Naa he had a good upbringing...By that I mean his parents were posh and rich...so it wasn't like he beaten or anything...I guess his upbringing makes him look down on other people...

His upbringing makes him look down on other people who is,

1. Not British like him?

and/or

2. Does not have posh and rich parents like him?

He probably looks down on every Korean he meets including all his Korean girlfriends and flings.

why didn't you beat him up?

I think two English teachers duking it out is acceptable in Korea. You should have burned his stuff, wizzed on it, narked him out, punch to the throat or something. It may be immature but I think you would feel better doing something like that than ranting on a message board.

Most guys around 26 are not ready for commitment. Especially the ones in Korea. Girls looking for commitment should be careful not to get too deeply involved with a 26 year old English teacher in Korea.

Life is too short, dude, to put up with that. Idiots like that don't last more than 5 minutes with me. But you ended up sharing an appartment with him?

Methinks U need to be a better judge of character. It should be obvious if someone is going to be trouble or not the first time U meet them.

When U see the dregs of western humanity persistently washing up in Korea, it becomes hard to blame Koreans for toughening up the visa regulations.
