2 years old, never trail-ridden but ridden, er, with vigor on the streets, sidewalks, stairways and kerbing of Jamshil, Bundang, Gwacheon, Olympic Park, and Yeoui-Do.
I'm 5'10" + change (179 cm), and I find the bike is a little small for extended rides. Undeterred, I go out for 2~3 hours at a time anyway. Bugger the knees, I'll buy new ones when I retire! It's great for getting to/from work or for general errands, though.
Front rim is not original; replaced due to myopic knobhead in parking garage. It's an official Cheap-O replacement, but it's holding up just fine under my sprightly 80 kg.
Rear cassette (8 gears) has been replaced. Rear derailleur was once bent out of alignment after getting caught in the spokes, but has been repaired and shifts cleanly, as does the front. 8th gear doesn't hold too well, wants to skip out, but face it, you'll rarely ever need top gear anyway!
Comes with a U-bolt lock, plus a cable lock slightly damaged in an inept attempt at thievery, and I'll even throw in my Specialized helmet (salt-encrusted chinstraps gratis!)
Probably needs new brake pads - I tend to leave stopping until the last possible moment....
Paid 360K for it in Sept. 2006, asking 120K but will consider offers. No trades, please, I'm leaving the ROK in 5 weeks and have enough crap to deal with!
Willing to ride it to somewhere near you! (Well, within reason...) Don't delay, PM today! |

Bumpity-bump!
This prime piece of cycling hardware is still available! I'm leaving in a few weeks and while I'd like to hang onto it as long as possible, reality forces me to move it sooner.
If you can put the cash in my hand this weekend, the glory of the Han River trails can be yours!
The bike lives in Jamshil, but I'm willing to deliver (within reason!)
Pics available upon request, but really... it's just a bike that looks astonishingly like this:
(only dirtier)
Amaze your friends! Stun your students! Be the envy of your enemies! First one to put cash in my hands rides away a happy rider! |
